Well here we are at Break #2, Summer Break. Plenty of things to do to keep yourself busy. Time for grilling, have a picnic, go swimming, traveling, beer drinking (my personal favorite BUSCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH), outdoor night fires, camping, fishing, go see the latest movie (Godzilla King of the Monsters was frickin' EPIC!), visit your local track and catch the latest race action, etc, etc….
Use this thread to chat about whatever you want.
Maybe you might want to preplan for the summer stretch of races.
Here’s the upcoming schedule:

Toyota/Save Mart 350 - Sonoma Sunday June 23
Camping World 400 - Chicago Sunday June 30
Coke Zero Sugar 400 - Daytona Saturday July 6
Quaker State 400 - Kentucky Saturday July 13
Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 - New Hampshire Sunday July 21
Gander RV 400 - Poke O Blow Sunday July 28
Go Bowling at the Glen - Watkins Glen Sunday August 4
Consumers Energy 400 - Michigan Sunday August 11
Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Bristol Saturday August 17

Late Summer/Fall Break

Playoff races start......

Also don't forget to sign up for my upcoming Road Course and Smash 'Em Up Leagues if you haven't already.

Joshua is turning 10 on June 20th so we plan on having a bowling party this weekend. Then on the 22nd I am taking him to the Nascar Truck race at Gateway( now called world wide technology raceway) Gateway raceway is easier to say.
Heck I'm right down the road (kinda) near Farmington. I've been to Gateway when they had a Nationwide race there. Ole flippy Carl Edwards won.... I am hoping that the I-55 track near Pevely dries up in time for my annual trip for the World of Outlaws Ironman 55 in August. The parking lot is a swamp right now....

take pictures at the bowling party of the people wearing BLUES 2019 Stanley Cup T-shirts and post them.
Last time i checked, it takes 16 playoff wins to get your name on the Cup. Boston thinks they already won.
I'm thinking that the gritty gutty Blues have one more great game left in them.

Edwards dominated that track for a few years(2010,2008,2006) I also remember a guy by the name of reed sorenson doing great there also.
I guess that was around the time I meet Joe Gibbs and Bobby Labonte there also.

I hope so....yesterday was a disaster. They need to learn how to score on the power play. I think they had like 4 chances yesterday.

Do you(or anyone) know the minimum age to go in pit area....not the pits(no way I have tht kind of $ or connections)
Like you can stand behind pit wall during practice with correct pass/ticket
Thanks

To get into the garage area for Gateway its free to the first 500 fans who get there early at 11am and get a wristband. Then at 330-530pm is open garage time That will be during the arca qualifying time. I think this is the only time they allow this.

Nationwide won't return to sponsor a NASCAR team next yr, leaving Hendrick Motorsports looking for a co-primary sponsor.
Nationwide: "As Nationwide's business needs evolve, we are adjusting our marketing resources to ensure that we are aligning to those new business priorities."
In other words..... Jr is gone and JJ and HMS ain't winning races like they used to so.. "Nationwide ain't on your side."
