took a stroll down memory lane for 2020 and was looking for boat anchors.
(19 races) and the bad luck is astonishing this season.
A group driver finishing 20th or worse (9 times of 19 starting slots)
B group driver finishing 25th or worse (8 times of 38 starting slots)
C group driver finishing 30th or worse (5 times of 19 starting slots)

i've used Blaney 4 times (highest B driver in CUP standings) and got finishes of 11th / 37th / 40th / 20th
just brutal, but onward and upward.

30 years ago there was a saying that was popular: Shiat happens--that's the way this years picks have been for many. :)
Right now I figure if all 4 of my drivers are still on the lead lap or running I'm doing good.

My anchors have been 22 & 48, think the 48 is benched for 2020.

Seems like anything I touch in the C-list finds the wall

For A...i only used Hamlin, Truex, Harvick, Busch and Elliott so far. Gotta say Elliott and Busch would be my lead anchors

For B...the 48 and 88 probably

I was curious on my season trends and shockingly it took 10 races to have a A-list driver to finish outside the top 6

On flip side, I had 6 DNFs-like picks between 4 races at Darlington and Charlotte. Oof

Lately it's been like losing a game of Whack-a-mole trying to hit on the C drivers.

First of the year thought the 48 would be an 8 race starter with the 6 as good fill-in, but looking for more 3 and 21 starts in the future.

Going for most improved DGG, but not a good start in week 19, ... 216

According to Sports Media Watch, the Kansas race had 1.47 Million viewers on NBCSN making it the
LEAST WATCHED CUP RACE on any network since at least the year 2000.
OUCH!!

Nascar did it to themselves.ivebeensayingit and noone believes me.the last 5 years have been dreadful.
Low hp very slow cars that cant pass each other.untalented 20 year olds killing the sport forcing early retirement on great drivers.
Im only here for the cars.the theatrics i can go without.
And when theres a "cinderalla story" every race every year are they really cinderalla stories anymore?
