What’s y’all’s opinions on staying away from
The 9car &18car this weekend?????

kb wasn’t exactly sincere
Said knows lots of 9car’s crew members....

Been too busy at work to check out anything that Chase/9car team said about the incident

I’m leaning ‘run away’ from both
Thanks For responses

the Chase Elliot bounce back theory...
when he finishes 30th or worse, does he "bounce back" with a strong effort the next race?
i'd say NO.
using 2019 and 2020 races, after a 30th or worse, he's finished 11 / 15 / 1 / 8 / 32 / 39
that's a 17.67 average which isn't good although he did get a win
of course now that i've posted this, he'll win again.
i'd think Bristol would be a better "accidental spin" track instead of this one.

Bob Pockrass@bobpockrass

Lineup for Cup race Wednesday at Charlotte will be invert of top-20 from Sunday for spots 1-20 and then 21-40 lineup in order of Sunday finish. Would expect draw for lineups for races that aren’t a return to same track but that is still TBA for Bristol-beyond.......

IMO a blind draw for future races is insane, imagine Quinn Houff and Gary Gaulding on the front row at Atlanta, 🤪😆😜
At least if they did it by points it would be much more close to where it would end up if they actually had qualifying. NASCAR doing it’s best to use this opportunity to turn things into a entertainment circus, much like the WWE Is.

maybe try the "pill bottle" approach like horse racing.
take the top 10 in points and put 10 numbers in a bottle.
shake it up and then draw. if 5 in drawn 1st then 5th in points is on the pole and so on until top 10 is set.
then do 11-20 the same way. then 21-30 and 31-40.
there have been enough races now that the standings have kinda separated the good from the bad.
no offense to ryan preece, but that was a gift starting on the pole because he came in 20th the race before.

Don't think it's a blind draw. If they do it the same as the first Darlington race, they divide the 36 charter teams in three segments based on points. Quin Houff is 36th in points, the best draw he can get is 25th and that's if he drives for a charter race team.

👍 That makes a little more sense.

here's something tombo would love. the "punch kyle for charity" method.
you bid on your starting spot and the money goes to charity, but the higher the bid, the less punches you get.
Top 5 starting spot goes to the top 5 bids, but you only get to punch Kyle once.
Spots 6-10 you get to punch kyle twice
chase elliot would bid for the 36-40 spot because he would get to punch kyle 8 times
