Marcos Ambrose had a very solid year for what is essentially a single-car team. JTG Daughtery Racing has a ‘technical alliance’ with Michael Waltrip Racing and it has proven great benefit. Ambrose showed the NASCAR world in 2009 that he is capable of running with the big dogs at a variety of tracks. He finished 4th at Talladega, 3rd at Infineon, 2nd at Watkins Glen and 3rd at Bristol during the 2009 season.

Marcos Ambrose’s background in the Australian V8 Supercar series is a great asset. He has alot of experience turning not only left, but also right.

Marcos Ambrose is high on my fantasy NASCAR list as a ‘group C’ driver whenever the NASCAR series visits Bristol, Watkins Glen and Infineon. He is also not a bad choice as a third round draft pick. I expect the ubiquitous smile on Marcos’ face to continue in 2010.
