2010 Fantasy NASCAR Draft Kit: About the Draft Kit

STOP GUESSING which fantasy NASCAR drivers to use at each track!

Fantasy NASCAR Draft KitThe 2010 Fantasy NASCAR Draft Kit is a pre-season guide to help you choose which drivers to draft for your fantasy NASCAR teams.

But, it's not just for pre-season! The Draft Kit has Loop Data Driver Rankings you can use all season long.

Our driver rankings are not the standard 'Average Finish' statistic on other NASCAR sites.

Each driver & each track ranking is calculated using official NASCAR Loop Data Driver Rating statistics from the previous three race seasons. NASCAR Loop Data is real-time race data including: Wins, Finishes, Top-15 finishes, Average running position while on lead lap, Average speed under green, Fastest lap, Led most laps and Lead-lap finish are weighted and calculated by NASCAR to determine truer driver ratings.

NASCAR Loop Data statistics are the details that true NASCAR POWER RANKINGS are made of!

"Some of the best stuff comes from the NASCAR Loop Data, stats compiled from the electronic scoring loops NASCAR has at each track. The various categories are used to come up with a driver rating system, similar to the quarterback rating system used in the NFL." - Terry Blount (NASCAR writer at ESPN)

"Loop Data provided to NASCAR by STATS will help fans identify which drivers and teams excel in certain race situations." - Ramsey Poston (NASCAR Managing Director of Corporate Communications)

"The Driver Rating formula includes statistics for each track from the following categories: wins, finishing results, top-15 finishes, average running position while on the lead lap, average speed under green flag conditions, the fastest lap run, times the driver was the leader of the most laps and lead-lap finishes. The maximum score is 150. That looks impressive on paper, but how representative is it of strength? As it turns out, very." - Dan Beaver (Yahoo! Sports)
