Matt Kenseth Starting Up Front Usually Ends Well
Winning the pole at Chicagoland for Sunday's race is Matt Kenseth's 9th time starting from the pole in 426 starts. In the eight previous races he started from the pole he has four top-5's (50%) and six top-10's (75%). The five races this season that Matt has started from a 5th place or better position Matt has two top-5's and four top-10's. His worst finish from a top-5 start this season is 11th. The general rule is that if Matt is starting a race upfront then you know he is really good.

David Reutimann is defending race winner and it's his best track
Chicagoland Speedway is arguably one of David Reutimann's best tracks. He has top-15 finishes in 3 of his 4 races here. 75%! He even won the race (fair and square) here last year. The catch-22 for fantasy owners is that David hasn't cracked the top-15 in 9 races. Worse still he only has 7 top-15 runs all season. By race #27 last year David had 13 top-15 runs under his belt. David has been all over the board on intermediate tracks (his best type) this year. His 2nd place finish at the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway does give me hope though.
