New Picks Deadlines This Week

I've decided to extend the Yahoo! driver picks until green flag. My fantasy NASCAR experts will make picks the first of the week. And, I hope you do too! But, now you can adjust them based on practice and qualifying.

We think the best help for you is allowing tweaks right up to go time. The game is at Yahoo! and not here. So, you may have a driver 'benched' that turns out to be the better 'active' driver according to our recommendations. Without having changes available we have know way to share that with you.

Looking for expert fantasy NASCAR advice or just want to see who other players are picking? Here is our panel of fantasy NASCAR experts picks for the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Being an 'expert' is a tough gig. Every bad pick brings a bevy of insults and declarations of "I could do way better than you!".

Well, here is your chance to go head-to-head with our experts. Just make your picks before the deadline for each race and see how well you do.

Top-5 Drivers: Any driver is available to be selected. Just don't pick the same driver for multiple spots (or something really bad may happen to you). Deadline to pick is right up to the green flag.

Yahoo Driver Groups: Exact same driver groupings as used by the 2013 Yahoo Fantasy Auto Racing game. Deadline to pick is the same deadline that Yahoo! designates each race week.

Dark Horse: Drivers in this category change each week. Basically, it is only drivers outside the top-15 in the points standings. Occasionally, we exclude certain drivers from this category even if they are outside the top-15. Deadline to pick is right up to the green flag.

Stay Away: Drivers in this category change each week. Basically, it is only drivers inside the top-12 in the points standings. Same philosophy as with the Dark Horse applies here. If Ricky Stenhouse Jr (no offense Ricky!) is in the top-12 a few races in to the season we'll take him out of the list because picking him as your Stay Away driver offers no true fantasy advice to anyone. Deadline to pick is right up to the green flag.

Yes. Only you can see your picks. We do take your picks and lump them in with all the other subscribers to crunch together and create and share a FRCS Group pick.

Although it isn't in place yet, we plan to show a TOP-50 (?) Leaderboard each week to give props to the subscribers with the best picks.
