I've corresponded with many great NASCAR fans over the years. Just two that I've then had the good fortune of meeting in person and developing a "real-life" friendship. Chase Lupton is one of them. We didn't talk much really. But, we had talked deeply enough that over time we began to refer to each other as 'brother'. Both acknowledging that was a relationship we missed in our lives.
I'm sad today because this friendly, unique and caring 'brother' of mine is now gone. I pray and hope for peace in the hearts of his family and friends as they deal with the loss of a truly great person. I'll miss you brother. I'm glad you got to enjoy the Martinsville races first-hand these last few years. Rest in peace my friend.
