Jimmie Johnson picked up his third win of the season, tying him with Tony Stewart and Brad Keselowski as we get closer to the Chase. Dale Earnhardt Jr. took over the points lead from Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards continued to have bad luck this season. With only six races left before the Chase begins the pressure has turned up for those who still want to claim a spot and try to win a championship this season.

This week the series heads back to Pocono Raceway for the second time this year. Joey Logano won the first race here this year, but will he be able to sweep?

Pennsylvania 400

Jimmie Johnson: Jimmie is my pick to win this weekend. It seems that once this team starts winning they get on a roll and are hard to stop. Jimmie has finished in the top-10 in nine of his last 10 starts at Pocono and will be looking for all the bonus points he can get heading into the Chase.

Denny Hamlin: Denny had a great car starting out the past weekend at Indy, but a poor pit stop cost him track position and he never fully recovered. He has four wins at this track and should give Jimmie a run for his money once again this weekend.

Tony Stewart: Tony has struggled lately on the flat tracks, but this past week this team made some major adjustments late in the race and rallied for a top-10 finish. Maybe they found something that they can use this weekend.

Kyle Busch: Kyle had another good run this weekend on a flat track and would really like to get another win to solidify his spot in the Chase. He currently holds the last wildcard in the standings to make the Chase.

Brad Keselowski: Brad won this race last year and has been outstanding on these types of tracks this season. Another great call by his crew-chief garnered him much needed track position at Indy and he came away with another top-10 finish.

Jeff Gordon: Once again, Jeff had a great car at Indy this past week, and yet he had to settle for a top-5 finish instead of a win. He will eventually get back to victory lane and will need to win a couple of races over the next six to get into the Chase.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Dale had another outstanding run this past weekend and vaulted into the top spot in the standings. He has finished in the top-10 in his last three starts at Pocono, and has a lot of confidence as we near the start of the Chase.

Kevin Harvick: Kevin has three top-5 finishes in his last five starts at Pocono and would like to earn a win before the Chase starts to get a few bonus points. This could be the track that he gets it at.

Greg Biffle: Greg had a great race at Indy this past weekend and almost pulled off an upset of sorts. This team has been very consistent all season no matter what type of track they have raced on. He should run well once again this weekend.

Mark Martin: Mark had a very good run at Indy last week in his first race since Michigan on June 17th. He had always run well at Pocono and could very well get his first ever victory at this track this weekend.
